A photo is worth a thousand words.  If you could be in any of these pictures.  Which one would you choose?

Picture one:  Are they at school on a stage or in the cafeteria eating lunch?  Or maybe you have another idea about where they are. Imagine that you are in this picture.  Write a story.

Picture two: Are the children listening very carefully at what this young person is saying?  Or is she reciting Poetry Jam?  Why do they look so interested in this person?  Imagine that you are in the picture.  Write a story on the event.

Picture three: Are the young people in this picture at an audition?  Are they reading scripts for an up-coming play?   How  many are there in the picture.  Imagine  that you are  in this picture  and you know everything that  is going on.  Write  a story  about what is happening in the picture.

Picture four:  Is this scene in the park?  What  is the grown-up writing?  Is it poetry or roll calling?  Are the other children waiting on their turn to go in the Gazebo or is the grownup playing a game with them?  Imagine that you are a part of the picture.  Write a story about this picture.

Picture five: Is the child writing a story or poem?  Why is she sitting on the ground while she writes?  Are there other children writing too?  Where do you think she is?  Imagine that you are this child.  Write a story on  your own imagination about this picture.

Picture six:  Are the two girls singing or they reciting poetry.  What kind of event are they presenting to the audience?  Where is this event taking place?  Is it in the summer or winter?  Imagine that you are one of the girls.  Write a story about  your own imagination on this picture.
