                                                                                   Synopsis
They all are good friends and professional  African American men in the community.  But they are also theatrical, comical and exciting folks. One of the men is a popular  Actor and the women love him to death. The  gossip around the community is not too good.  Instead of living in Hollywood, he prefers to live in his hometown, Big D.  His first marriage is over. Gossip is the main reason for untruthful accusations upon him. He decides to marry a younger woman which makes that the hit list and first thing on the agenda every morning at the Beauty Salons, Supermarkets and even in the Churches. Everywhere he goes, people stare and whisper behind his back as he and his younger wife strut down the aisles of Supermarkets.

Often, young kids run up to him for autographs before he gets into his Red Convertible White Top Mercedes Benz.  Being around his high school and college friends is like taking him back to the good old days of acting on the stage. He jokes about them still being actors in their professions.  But the gossiping is getting to him and his younger wife.  He has to do something about the accusations before he loses another wife.

One woman in the community is the main source that spreads the gossip, in the Supermarkets, Parking lots, Beauty Salons and Churches. She is bad news to him.  She is out to get the Actor. It is a jealousy that stems from high school.  But one day as the five friends are sitting drinking beer and laughing, one of his friends talk about what folks are saying about  him.

The Actor puts a sly grin on his face. He tell them he has a plan.  He want them to be a part of his  plot. Two Detectives, City Coroner, Mortuary owner and proprietor of the Casket business are skeptical.  But he tries to convince them that it will give the gossiping women something really to spread and put their mouths to rest.  It’s the perfect plan, he thinks. He tell his friends that fear will stop all gossiping mouths and this plan is the remedy.  They laugh at the thought of acting it out.  They think that the idea is unbelievable and crazy. But the Actor is serious as he wait for their approval.  Hip-Hop, Gospel and the sound of the saxophone compliments the comedy storyline.

                                                                            Beyond The Seams
                                                                                   Synopsis
'Baseball is a game of chess, technique, strength, power and finesse.'  With   these words,  down in Houston, Texas, a thirteen year old African American teenage boy pitcher that throws from the left side takes an old man advice seriously.  When he steps on the mound to pitch, he feels like he is king of the hill.  His ability to freeze batters with his spinning curves and sinker balls moving on the corners of home plate amaze the eyes of the crowd.  While other black kids are running for the game of basketball, his passion for baseball is like music to his ears.

The coming of Spring draws him to the ball park every year with his  catcher before practice even begins.   Of course he rewards his friend with an order of  ribs from his mother's  barbecue place for putting in extra time.  His mother  always knows where her son is, practicing baseball.   Even with the odds against him to go to the majors in the future,  it  doesn't matter.  To him,  for the moment of just playing  the game and  experimenting with different pitches  excite his innocent ego.

As the summer games ends, the burden of  losing a Championship game hangs over his head so much that his will to play again  haunts him.  The wisdom of  the Old Man comes to him again.  'Losing is not about  quitting.  It's about challenge and revenge.'   Every time, it seems  as if  he hears  the old man's voice in time of doubt.  As he sits on the bench crying, his coach teases him  about being a cry baby and gives him a little doll.  He is angry and slams the doll to the floor and runs away.

As years pass,  he is able to overcome obstacles that get in the way, and  lead his high school and college into championship games that are long overdue.  His thrills come from being able to master the game between the     batter and himself with a little white hard ball that dances up to the home plate wearing red seams.  As he grows into a young family man, he puts a glove and ball in his son's hand.  He whispers to his baby  son.  "Of all the  good black baseball players in my day, the Major Leagues  call up only one  from our all Black College Conference. It's gonna be different for you, son.  For I am going to teach you the magic of the game."

A touching story of challenge, defeat, courage and the love for the game  of baseball by a young African American in the community who capture his skills on the pitching  mound regardless of the odds. Oldies songs  compliment the different scenes.

                                                                                   Synopsis
Time changes as years pass. An old woman is walking up the street.  She walks up to an old vacant building. The sign is hanging half-way on the ground. She stops and peeps in. The old woman owns the building.  The old sign reads: The Honey Dripper Night Club. She wipes one of the panes on the front door with her hand.  She opens the door and walks in. The old woman smiles as she reflects back to the good old days of jitterbug dancing and the jukebox. It is a chapter in her vintage life. She begins to jitterbug dance as if she is 'back in the day.'  She stops, pick up some pictures from the floor and sits down at one of the old club tables.   Tears flow from her eyes as she remember all the good times at the Honey Dripper Night Club.

She flashes back to 1947 and those wonder years that bring the first jukebox to the Negro neighborhood.   In             1947, The Honey Dripper Night Club is the talk of  the neighborhood and especially a young pretty queen                 waitress who men can’t help but take a second look. She is everything a common man dreams of having for his
woman. But she isn’t an easy catch until the jukebox comes into her life at The Honey Dripper Night Club.                 Now her owner knows one day she is going to fall in love and just maybe, The Honey Dripper Night Club isn’t         going to be same without her.

But  the owner is slick, middle age, but a hard legit man, and fair.  When someone crosses the line in his club,             he solves it one way or another. When the first jukebox arrives at the club, it’s like a holiday for celebration.            Jitterbug dancing is the highlight of the forties and every weekend, Negro folks are dancing and having a good         time at The Honey Dripper.

The Blues is the trademark of the jukebox. The customers love the Blues. The owner  and his best friend                 dream of becoming rich. His friend owns the jukebox business and he owns the night club until his queen                     waitress falls in love.  Other conflicts and challenges comes along that causes a good friendship to evaporate in         thin air. The challenges and obstacles aren't  worth the effort to fight over. But one day, a challenge comes that         the owner has to deal with alone.  The Jukebox is a combination of comedy and drama.  The soul of the story             lies within common Negro people enjoying, laughter, business and the Blues from a machine that is new to                them. It only cost ten cents and a quarter to play the Blues.
