"Have you ever Poetry Jam?
I like them action rhyme 
words!Listen up! I'm going 
to write  one for you!"

                   
Wham!  Bam!  Slam!  This is Poetry Jam!  On my
way to school to learn the golden rule, sitting on
the bus listening to all the children play and fuss!
Some are singing and others are louder than a
telephone ringing!  Slam!  Bam!  Books are falling
out of back packs while they search for morning
snacks!  The bus is rocking back and forth!  Bam!
Some one falls on the floor!  Screech!  Screech! 
The  golden bus stops!  We jump to our feet and
gather our things as the school bell rings!  We are
running late as the children begin to sing!  Wham!
Bam!  Slam!  School is not a sham!  A long day
ahead  to gather a little more knowledge
before we cuddle up and go to bed!  Wham! Bam!
Slam!  How you like that Jam?!  I'm out!

"Monkey!  I can write a better Poetry Jam!  
 I will  show you!  A Monkey can't
Jam like a Tiger!  I can rhyme on a dime!"
                         
Here I am, sitting in my office, dressed in a tie and
cool blue suit!  I'm away from the jungle for a day!
I feel pretty good being out of the hood, looking for
my daily snack  near the railroad track!  It's worth
showing this monkey I can Slam!  Bam!  And Jam!
He better watch his back  and don't get too relax!
Listen up!  This is not a game!  Put something in my
Giving Cup!  I jam because I'm looking for fame and
my name is Tiger Lane!  I'm going to put that monkey
to shame!  Next time you hear from him, he will be
walking with a cane because I'm going out with a
Bang!  Give me five and you just might stay alive!
Wham!  Bam!  Slam!  Monkey!  That's Poetry Jam!

I can jam too!   I'm not a sham!   Monkey and
Tiger Lane are pretty good!  I'm a chicken with
a bat! I don't give the pitcher any slack and if 
tiger thinks he's going to have me for a snack, he
better step back, hide in a sack, and listen to
me Slam!    Listen to the words of a hard hitting
bird!
                          
When you pitch to me, you better be ready to run
and have fun!  I carry a big bat and all the
baseball players know that!  I'm a hard hitter
and I never had a baby sitter!  When I stand at
the plate, it's not a piece of cake.  Some times
a pitcher gets on my nerve when he throws me a
nasty curve!   But I regroup and hit one over the
fence for my troupe!  Wham!  Bam!  That's Poetry
Jam!   Slam!   Ball game over!  Monkey and tiger,
go hide under your  covers!   I'm out!
